Deborah Hope Wayne is a Westchester County attorney who serves the Yonkers community. The city of Yonkers is located in Westchester County, New York. Yonkers is has a population of 195,976 according to the 2010 census and is 2 miles north of Manhattan. The city has many attractions: The Hudson River Museum, the Science Barge, and Yonkers Raceway, to name a few. Yonkers started out being a farming community then developed into an industrial hub. Industries like Otis Elevator Company got its start when a Yonkers native, Elisha Otis, invented the first safety elevator in 1853. A famous plastics industry, Bakelite, was invented in Yonkers by Leo Baekeland in 1906 and manufactured here until the 1920’s. Deborah Hope Wayne believes sharing her experience and knowledge with other legal practitioners is very important. She dedicates a good part of her professional time training and educating other professionals about Collaborative Practice and Mediation. She teaches collaborative law at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, and has lectured on collaborative law and conflict resolution at various institutions in the New York region, including St. John’s University and Fordham Law School.
Ms. Wayne’s offices are located in New Rochelle, New York and in Manhattan. Yonkers is only 7.5 miles from her New Rochelle office. The New Rochelle office is 25 minutes by train from New York City.
